It looks like a lull caused by the visit of Alexander Hug to Donetsk and European MPs on the occupied territory of Donbass, is coming to an end. The relative silence on the fronts is being gradually replaced by the fighting of varying intensity. Dokuchaevsk, Zaitsevo, the Yasinovatskiy checkpoint, the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, in all these areas there were clashes last night.

Now, first things first.

Over the past, still relatively quiet day, the Ukrainian military 46 times shelled the territory of the Republic. Under fire came Yasinovataya, the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, the localities Staromykhaylovka and Aleksandrovka. The Ukrainian side used in the shelling grenade launchers. The long-suffering locality of same Zaytsevo came under fire from large-caliber mortars prohibited by the «Minsk-2». At about 9:30 am, the Ukrainian army opened fire on the locality, with mortar shells landing next to a point of the humanitarian aid distribution, where at that time there were about 300 residents of the locality. Fortunately, no one was affected.

On the night from 21 to 22 September, battles were fought in Dokuchaevsk, Zaitsevo, Zhabichevo near Donetsk, at the Yasinovatsky checkpoint and in the Petrovsky district of the capital of the DPR.

At about 22:00, under fire from the Ukrainian military came Dokuchaevsk city. The shelling was carried out from the occupied locality of Novotroitskoye. The Ukrainian side used large-caliber mortars and small arms.

The Ukrainian army also shelled again the locality of Zaitsevo. About 11 mortar shells, launched from 82 and 120mm mortars, landed on the territory of the locality. In addition to mortars, there were also used heavy machine guns, armored vehicles and small arms.

From occupied Pesky, there was shelled the locality of Zhabichevo, situated to the north of Donetsk. At the Yasinovatsky checkpoint, mortar shells exploded, a sniper was working on the Petrovsky district of the DPR capital, and a large number of drones was recorded in the sky.

As of 9:30 am, on September 22, there was no information about casualties or damage.

Meanwhile, Ukraine continues to strengthen its position on the contact line. According to the intelligence, in the Mariupol direction, near the localities Belaya Kamenka and Granitnoye, the was detected the arrival of three tanks, as well as a mechanized platoon consisting of an infantry fighting vehicle BMP-1, an armored personnel carrierBTR-80, a vehicle with ammunition and 15 personnel.
