The Head of the People's Republic of Donetsk, Alexander Zakharchenko, commenting on the proposal of the former Ukrainian President, Viktor Yanukovych, to hold a referendum on the status of Donbass, said that the plebiscite had already been held in 2014, and there could be no question of another. 

Earlier, Yanukovych called for a referendum on the status of Donbass, if Kiev does not fulfill the Minsk Agreements. This initiative is proposed in the letter to the former president to the heads of Russia, the USA, Germany, France, Poland, as well as the leadership of the PACE and the Council of Europe. 

‘We held a referendum in 2014 ... Another is out of question,’ said Zakharchenko at a press conference.
