There is a hard fighting on the outskirts of Donetsk, in the area of the locality of Spartak, wrote the war correspondent Sergey Belous in his blog, posting a video from the city center, where shots are clearly audible. 

‘The fight near Spartak has been going on for three hours, and just now, it seems the «response» has come. It was filmed three minutes ago. The thunder is heard in the center, windows are shaking,’ says Belous.

His colleague, Roman Saponkov reports, in his turn, the fighting in Zaytsevo, which began in the morning. 

‘Serious aggravation. At 6 am the heavy shelling started. As of 18:00, there are eight dead and the number of the wounded is unknown. If in the morning the men were wounded and killed only by artillery, in the afternoon they received bullet wounds. The fight was intense, not all the killed have been taken from the positions. I do not know whether the DPR artillery can answer. For Zaytsevo, unfortunately, it is a normal situation. This is how the AFU congratulated the militia on February 23,’ wrote Saponkov in his blog. 

‘That is the price of the holiday of the Defender of the Motherland Day. This is not like drinking alcohol with an appetizer in a company,’ says Belous.
