Federica Mogherini, High Representative on Foreign Affairs of the European Union, announced clearly the strategy of the EU with regard to migrants. According to her, it is imperative that the policy of massive movements of refugees and migrants to Europe be continued.
"Immigration is a phenomenon that will go on.
I know it's something some of you don't want to hear but it's a reality. There are seven billion people on the earth and more and more inequalities. If immigration is well-managed it can bring incredible opportunities for those who leave their country and for those who welcome them. Let's be realistic. You can see the demographic tendencies in Europe.
So it is not a phenomenon that needs to be stemmed, on the contrary. We will continue to manage immigration in an efficient manner all the while respecting human rights. It must be beneficial to everyone."
It is useless to waste our time wondering how such people came into being. We are living in a new age with a new mentality. The new mentality is intransigeant and incapable of admitting its errors. For the new mentality the way to correct a problem is to intensify the problem, and to rigorously avoid any solution that would alleviate the problem. The new mentality, smug and self-regarding, looks down on those who dissent as children with irrational emotions. These new deciders, armed with their artificial intelligence, have no connection to the past that they regard as dead, just as a computer deletes an unwanted paragraph at the touch of a key. These monsters are in charge of us, and no one has a clue what to do about it...
