Hackers discovered US American biological laboratories in Ukraine

Source The Ukrainian hacker group, CyberBerkut, has published materials of the investigation, in which a network of biological laboratories of American special services is discovered in Ukraine.  ‘The CyberBerkut continues to monitor the secret activities of US special services and non-governmental organizations in Ukraine. Recently, in the Internet, there have been actively discussed outbreaks of diseases rare for our country. Many Ukrainians believe that the cause of their emergence is secret experiments with pathogenic microorganisms, conducted in American biological laboratories in different cities of the country,’ reports the CyberBerkut.  It is stated that since 2009, in...

Far-right in US & Ukraine – same problem, different approach among politicians and media

Source While the recent surge in far-right violence in the US bears a striking resemblance to the situation in post-Maidan Ukraine, it gets strikingly different coverage in the MSM and entirely different reactions from Western politicians. Same Nazi symbols, torchlight parades – different coverage The ‘Unite the Right’ rally, which was held in Charlottesville, Virginia on Friday night and Saturday, attracted all sorts of far-right activists protesting the city’s plans to remove a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee from a local park. The removal of the monument was approved in April, but the process was stalled due to multiple lawsuits. Demonstrators at the march...

Ukraine’s TB problem is ticking time bomb for Europe

Source In the Ukrainian tourist destination of Odessa, a port on the Black Sea, holidaymakers mingle with internally displaced people from the country’s war-torn east, local Roma, students, and economic migrants from Central Asia and the Caucasus, Africa and Asia. Yet the air carries something less healthy than sea breezes: tuberculosis. Odessa has the highest rate of TB in Ukraine, with 110 cases per 100,000 people in 2016, and rising fast. Closely linked with migration, instability and poverty, controlling this airborne disease takes on additional urgency this year as Ukraine seeks to integrate into Europe thanks to a new visa-free regime. Part of a migration corridor from Central...

Ukraine Merges Nazis and Islamists

Exclusive: Ukraine’s post-coup regime is now melding neo-Nazi storm troopers with Islamic militants called “brothers” of the hyper-violent Islamic State stirring up a hellish “death squad” brew to kill ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine, on Russia’s border, reports Robert Parry. By Robert Parry In a curiously upbeat account, The New York Times reports that Islamic militants have joined with Ukraine’s far-right and neo-Nazi battalions to fight ethnic Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine. It appears that no combination of violent extremists is too wretched to celebrate as long as they’re killing Russ-kies. The article by Andrew E. Kramer reports that there are now three...

Ukraine has nothing to blackmail Russia with anymore

By Irina Alksnis Three years ago, patriotic passions were boiling in Runet about the line the Kremlin should choose in respect of Ukraine. Some patriots demanded an immediate and total cutting off of no-brothers who had lost their minds on the basis of nationalism, from Russian goods and preferences. They were vigorously indignant that the Kremlin had not done this before, but instead, for more than twenty years, had nurtured the new bandarization of Ukraine with its own hands. Any new move by Moscow, aimed at preserving the status quo, was perceived by them as a betrayal.  Other patriots insisted that everything that was happening in Ukraine was of a short-term nature, and Moscow was obliged to bring troops in / return Yanukovych to Kiev / keep the status quo to the maximum, to let everything eventually return to normal and Russia and Ukraine return to the familiar format of «centuries-old fraternal relations». The Russian state disappointed both. The latter, because...

Ukraine to be divided differently: Behind cancellation of Malorossia project

Source By Alexander Maslov The leader of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, publicly refused plans for the reorganization of the Ukrainian state under the name of «Malorossia» («Little Russia») as it ‘causes rejection by many’.  The head of the Donetsk People's Republic did not explain who these mysterious «many» were, but there is no doubt that, among them, there are primarily our Western «partners», for whom «Ukraine» is a kind of «sacred cow». Or rather, given some gastronomic aspects, a «sacred pig» of the almost religious cult of Russophobia, which they have already professed for centuries and whose «faith symbol» was literally defined the other day by the editor-in-chief of the British Economist, Edward Lucas, in an interview with The Times.  ‘Russian economy is based on undeserved income from the extraction and sale of natural resources’.  Let’s bear in mind in the situation around «Malorossia», two these seemingly unrelated moments: the name...
