The situation in the Donetsk People’s Republic remains tense.
The enemy continues the fire impact on the area of the following localities of the Republic: Sakhanka, Elenovka, Yasinovataya, Zaytsevo, Shirokaya Balka, Krasny Partizan, Yakovlevka, Spartak, Ozeryanovka, Kominternovo, Gorlovka, Signalnoye, Bezymennoye, Oktyabr, Golmovsky, Dokuchaevsk, Trudovskiye, the area of the airport and the Volvo center of Donetsk city
Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine violated the ceasefire 57 times, having used on the territory of the Republic heavy artillery 84 times, including 25 152mm shells, mortars 276 times, including 171 120mm shells, infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers 55 times, and anti-aircraft systems, grenade launchers and small arms 643 times.As a result of the shelling, there were damaged six private houses, including three houses in the locality of Sakhanka (N65 in Gavrilenko St, N3 and N4 in Babenko St), one house in the locality of Elenovka (N7 in Depovskaya St), one house in the locality of Zaytsevo (N173 in Rybalko St) and one house in the locality of Yasinovataya (N4 in Kashtanovaya St). There were no casualties among the civilians.
According to our intelligence, the enemy continues to re-group and amass weapons near the contact line.
In particular, in the area of the locality of Novomikhaylovka (9 km away from the contact line), there was detected a platoon of 122mm motorized artillery systems «Gvozdika».
On 9-10 March, S.Poltorak is expected to arrive in Mariupol, due to frequent cases of non-combat losses among the personnel of the 36th separate Marine brigade and mass theft of fuel, lubricants, weapons and ammunition.
There was confirmed another case of non-combat losses in the 46th separate special forces battalion of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade in the area of Novoluganskoye, where a soldier committed suicide, having shot himself in the head from his personal weapon. The suicide was caused by serious financial problems and absolute indifference of the commanders towards their subordinates.
The People’s Militia units. in their turn, conduct planned classes on combat training, namely driving tanks and infantry fighting vehicles and firing from them and from small arms, as well as classes on special and engineering training.
