In the Donetsk direction, the enemy used mortars, various types of grenade launchers and small arms. The enemy launched 20 mortar shells of 82-mm calibre onto the area of Spartak village.
In the Mariupol direction, there were launched 32 mortar shells of 120-mm and 82-mm calibres onto the adjacent areas of Leninskoye, Sosnovskoye and Sakhanka villages.
The situation is most complicated in the Gorlovka direction, where the AFU units fired at the Republic's settlements with artillery, mortars, various types of grenade launchers and small arms. Thus, onto Golmovsky and Domomitnoye villages there were launched 24 artillery shells of 122-mm calibre and 42 mortar shells of 120-mm and 82-mm calibres and 43 rounds from the arms of infantry fighting vehicles. In addition, the localities of Mikhailovka and Zaitsevo were bombarded with infantry fighting vehicles’ arms and grenade launchers.
As a result of the shelling of Golmovsky village, there was damaged a power line, due to which all boiler rooms were de-energized. Currently, the village is without heat and electricity. In addition, outbuildings and glazing were damaged on Shkolnaya and Voroshilovgradskaya streets. In the village of Dolomitnoye there were destroyed two houses on Zheleznodorozhnaya street.
In total, 13 violations of the ceasefire regime by the Ukrainian Armed Forces were registered for the past day.
As a result of mortar shelling of Spartak locality by the AFU, there were injured two civilians of our Republic, born in 1984 and 1986, and a woman of retirement age received an injury when the village of Dolomitnoye was attacked. By these consequences, the enemy questioned the "New Year truce", proving that the Ukrainian side cannot be trusted in general.
As we can see, the Ukrainian side has unilaterally decided to withdraw from the "New Year" armistice and return to the genocide of the population of our Republic.
The bombardment in the Gorlovka direction was carried out by the Nazis from the Donbass-Ukraine battalion. In this case, strikes were targeted on the infrastructure and life support facilities – boiler houses and power lines. I would like to note that the fire was adjusted with the use of several unmanned aerial vehicles. We managed to shoot down one of them, but, unfortunately, it fell on the minefield on the engagement line.
Such actions on the part of the Nazis, who have recently replaced the nationalist Aidar battalion, evidence one thing – even the international agreements cannot cease the thirst for blood of these monsters.
At the same time, the criminal Ukrainian authorities strongly support such attacks by the Nazis in order to achieve two goals at once: the first one is to inflict damage on our Republic, and the second one is to absolve themselves of responsibility in case if the international pressure is increased. Thus, they will get away with it before the international tribunal, accusing the allegedly uncontrolled and illegal armed formations of nationalists of murdering DPR civilians and destroying settlements.
But it will be impossible for the current military and political authorities to come clean. Our intelligence has established for certain that the artillery fire at Golmovsky village had been conducted by a brigade artillery group’s forces of the 54th separate mechanized brigade. The war criminal Maistrenko A.S. personally gave the command to fire. These materials will be transferred to the investigative bodies of the Republic. Punishment will necessarily overtake these war criminals!
Along with that, we do not exclude the continuation of the fire in this direction aimed at provoking us into retaliatory actions.
In the Donetsk direction, where civilians were wounded, the fire was engaged by mortar units of the 25th separate airborne brigade under the command of the war criminal Zenchenko O.V. By some distinctive features it comes clear that the mortar men practiced exactly the fire on moving targets. As a target, there came civilians rushing between the dilapidated houses of the holiday village, hiding from shelling, until they were injured and fell down. It was only then the punishers stopped shooting.
We appeal to the international community and international observers! What other proofs do you need to also call it genocide?
At the same time, at present the Ukrainian side is actively preparing "fake" reports, in which journalists fall, allegedly, under fire on the part of the Republic. Although, in fact, all these claps and bursts come as a result of the activities of the AFU engineering units that are not far behind the scenes.
We associate this activity with the upcoming January 18 meeting of representatives of the Tripartite Contact Group in Minsk, where these false reports will be presented as evidence of a ceasefire violation on our part.
