Over the past day, there were registered 34 violations of the ceasefire regime by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy used tanks, mortars, weapons of infantry fighting vehicles, various types of grenade launchers and small arms. 12 tank rounds, 45 mortar shells of 120-mm and 135 of 82-mm calibre were launched onto ten localities and the surrounding areas.
In the Mariupol direction, the enemy launched three 120-mm mortar shells and 24 of 82-mm calibre. Along with that, IFV weapons, various types of grenade launchers and small arms were applied against the adjacent areas of Leninskoye, Oktyabr and Kominternovo localities.
The AFU has long ceased to be an army in the full sense of the word, and perpetually drunken 'ATO' participants began to perceive the elementary army discipline as something wild and alien.
Thus, soldiers of 57th separate mechanized brigade started a real armed insurrection with a demand to dismiss the new commander of the brigade, Golovashenko. On the video, which the rebels posted on the Internet, they complained of constant insults and manifestations of aggression against personnel, including officers. According to them, the brigade commander even beat the chief of staff of the 17th battalion, Kravchenko, omitting the fact that the major had come to the meeting with the unit commander, being in a state of intoxication.
Also, in their video address to the president, the soldiers told in detail that, before the appointment of a new commander, it had been of no difference in the unit whether a person was a private soldier, an officer, a battalion commander or a squad leader. After all, the AFU are striving for entering NATO, and such things as subordination, unity of command and army discipline, in their opinion, are simply a senseless remnant of the Soviet past.
Everything immediately becomes clear after such statements. And the lawlessness that is going on in the AFU units takes on a new sense. Regular drunkenness, drug use, unauthorized abandonment of a base are just manifestations of European freedom. Of course, the brigade commander is still a Soviet-school military, his intellect has not been completely disfigured by the ideas of the Maidan and staying in the 'ATO' zone after having seen such a mess, and he tried to restore order in the unit by harsh methods.
As a result of the appeal of the 57th brigade's soldiers, a comprehensive inspection has been carried out to the unit, revealing a number of violations, and soldiers themselves suffered from it, having drawn the attention of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to the problem. But they were convinced that their democratic method worked and other servicemen could follow their example and complain directly to the President.
