On February 13, the activists of the association «New Harmony», supported by the Central Trade Union of Italy, organized a rally in support of the people of Donbass in front of the station in the city of Venice. On February 14, it was reported by the LPR Federation of Trade Unions. 

The event was held to show the people of Europe that for the third year, the government of Ukraine had been waging a war against their people in Donbass. Its participants held posters, such as «Your money for Kiev means bombs for Donbass», «NATO, hands off of Russia and Ukraine», «Kiev, stop killing!», «Poroshenko, stop killing!», «We are Donetsk, Lugansk, Donbass!». 

In addition, during the rally, there were handed out leaflets where it was written that the Poroshenko regime is waging a war against his own people for the European taxpayers' money. 

‘The situation in Donbass is still a taboo subject in the media of Western countries. Italy where local media actively avoid this theme, is not an exception. But in Italy, there are many people who are not only interested in what's going on here, but also actively trying to bring the truth about the events taking place in Donbas to the general public in Italy,’ said the chairman of the LPR Federation of Trade Unions, Oleg Akimov.
