Kiev sent a group of American journalists to the front line in the Avdeevka area, to the north of Donetsk, for falsifying data on violations of the "regime of silence" by the DPR forces. It was reported by the DPR operational command.

‘The DPR intelligence revealed the fact of the arrival in the zone of ​​responsibility of the 16th separate mechanized infantry battalion of the 58th separate mechanized infantry brigade, of US journalists, accredited at the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, to cover the events in the ATO area in the light favorable for the Ukrainian authorities,’ he said.

The operative command also added that, according to a source in the headquarters of the 58th separate mechanized infantry brigade, at the checkpoint in the Avdeevka area, ​​radicals of the "Right Sector" had taken equipment and cash from one of the journalists.

‘The Ukrainian command is carrying out an investigation on this fact, negotiating with the journalist about non-disclosure of circumstances of the incident. However, the US journalist intends, in any event, to publicize the illegal actions of the Ukrainian security forces and express her dissatisfaction with the Ukrainian side, in whose interests she is working,’ said the representative of the command, referring to the source’s data.
