Ukrainian hackers have hacked and blocked the data base of the DPR Pension Fund, payments to residents of the Republic have been suspended. It was announced by the chairman of the Pension Fund, Galina Sagaydakova.

The hacking of the DPR Pension database by Ukrainian hackers is aimed at the destabilization of the economic situation in the Republic, added Galina Sagaydakova.

‘It must be assumed that the goal of the hackers was solely the destabilization of the social situation in the Donetsk People's Republic. It is no secret that the Ukrainian authorities are trying by all means to tighten the economic blockade of the DPR,’ she emphasized. 

She suggested that the Ukrainian authorities needed the database in order not to pay pensions to citizens who had been able to receive payments on the territory of Ukraine.

‘We regard these actions as sabotage, firstly aimed to ensure that the citizens of the DPR could not receive their pensions on time, and secondly, in order not to pay pensions to those who receive their pension on the territory of both the DPR and Ukraine,’ said Sagaydakova.
