Anatoly said that currently several people had already been identified.

‘At least 400 people were killed during the hostilities, but their families do not know this for sure. It's an opportunity for people to learn the fate of their relatives. A few people have already been identified,’ the biochemist said.

The head of the forensic biology department, Natalia Shcherbakova, described the procedure for analysis and identification.

‘The technical side of the issue takes about three days. However, more time is required for data processing and registration in the database,’ said Natalia.

Anatoly also said that, together with his friend and a patron, Yuri Mezinov, he is restoring a church in Nikishino, destroyed by the Ukrainian shelling. A huge proportion of the required funds is personal, with a part of them is given for these purposes by people who care about the fate of the church.
