'Last year, two German parliamentarians raised, on their personal initiative, about 200 thousand euros for children of Donbass. The money was handed over to the children medical facilities of Gorlovka, Lugansk and Donetsk,’ said Andrej Hunko, a German MP from the Left party for Aachen, at an interview.

‘A year ago, shortly before Christmas Wolfgang Gehrcke, a MP from the Left party, and me held a charity event for the children’s hospital of Gorlovka…. We were stunned by resonance to our request for donations,’ pointed out Hunko.

He also added that, as a result of the event, in February 2015 there had been delivered a 30 thousand euro worth humanitarian aid to Donbass. In November 2015, there was another, 140 thousand euro worth, delivery of humanitarian aid. SOURCE
