‘Right now, the evacuation of the old part of Avdeevka has started... The situation is coming more and more critical,’ wrote Evgeny Dayday, a MP of the Verkhovnaya Rada of the faction «People's Front», on his Facebook page. 

However, according to the «112 Ukraine», nobody is hurrying to leave their homes. 

‘The locals said that they had been informed about the evacuation at will, but no one is going yet,’ reported a correspondent of the TV channel. 

In Avdeevka, with the population of about 35,000 people, due to the deterioration of the situation along the contact line in Donbass, there was declared a state of emergency. 

In the town, theAvdeevka Coke plant is de-energized, there is no electricity, or heat or partly water supply, there is no mobile connection. The Donetsk filter plant (DFP), located nearby, is out of operation as well. The Donetsk People's Republic accused the Ukrainian side of the shelling and the subsequent stopping of the DFP.
