Ukrainian military have received awards for shelling Elenovka, during which civilians were killed. It was stated by the representative of the DPR Defense Ministry Eduard Basurin.

‘On April 29, the chief of the General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Muzhenko, arrived in the area of Volnovakha. It is noted that Muzhenko’s visit is associated with preparations for the intensification of the hostilities in the coming days. In addition, in order to maintain the morale of the officers carrying out the criminal orders, Muzhenko awarded the most distinguished military of the 14th separate mechanised brigade for the shelling of civilians near Elenovka.

In addition, on April 28 the US Ambassador to Ukraine Jeffrey Payette arrived in Mariupol where he is holding meetings with the local administration and the commanders of the nationalistic battalions. During Payette’s visit, in a number of localities near Mariupol, the Ukrainian military started the evacuation of children, which is related to the preparation of acts of terrorism and attacks against civilians by the AFU, of which we informed earlier. After that, the US Ambassador to Ukraine plans to go to Odessa where he will meet the military command and sponsors of the nationalist units participating in the operation "Kulikovo Pole”, planned by the Ukrainian authorities from April 30 to May 3,’ said Eduard Basurin.
