‘Welcome to Kyiv, Eurovision 2017 Host City!’. 

This is the name of the alternative promo video of the song contest, which is now in jeopardy due to Kiev's position regarding the participant from Russia, Yulia Samoilova.

‘Welcome to Kiev, the new capital of the song contest, the capital of the blossoming European nation, the birthplace of democracy, freedom of speech, religious beliefs, the rule of law’, these are titles in English against the background of shots of neo-Nazi marches and greetings, massacres, dispersals of rallies and arrests of dissenters. 

‘This is the capital of the country where everyone has the right to life, their own opinion, the right to speak their native language, where human dignity and the exploits of their ancestors are respected, and Nazi crimes are condemned’, these titles are interspersed with photos of the victims of neo-Nazis, their nesting selfies, real slogans under which they take to the streets today, ‘Death to Russians! More murders’.
