Two Ukrainian soldiers died due to the careless handling of weapons in Donbass, another two were wounded, according to a message posted on the Facebook page of the military operation of the Ukrainian military press-center.

Over the year, the AFU suffered greater noncombat losses than in battles in Donbass. 

‘On January 2, 2017, as a result of violation of the rules for handling weapons, in one of the units in the ATO area, near Maryinka, there were killed two soldiers and another two wounded. This incident is under an investigation of its circumstances,’ said the statement.
