The Russian Federal Security Service reported the detention in Sevastopol of a terrorist group of the the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, which was preparing terrorist attacks on military objects of the Crimea.

‘On November 9, the Federal Security Service detained in the city of Sevastopol members of a terrorist group of the Intelligence General Department of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, planning acts of terrorism on the military infrastructure and critical infrastructure of the peninsula of Crimea,’ says the statement of the FSB.

As noted, in the course of a special operation, at the detainees’ location, there were seized high power explosive devices, weapons and ammunition, as well as special communication means.

The FSB added that the detainees were carrying maps depicting objects for the planned terrorist attacks.

For now, the FSB does not reveal how many terrorists and their associates were arrested. According to the FSB, the terrorists had been trained in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry of of Ukraine.
