The DPR Prosecutor's General Office has formed a new body to investigate war crimes of the Ukrainian troops in Donbass - the Department for the Investigation of crimes against the peace and security of mankind. It was announced by the Head of the Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General of the Republic, Roman Belous.

‘We have formed a new department, as part of the Investigative Department of the Prosecutor General - the Department for the Investigation of Crimes against the peace and security of mankind. In particular, the new body will investigate shelling by the AFU,’ he said.

Belous added that currently specialists of the Prosecutor General's Investigative Department collect the maximum amount of materials to initiate criminal proceedings against the Ukrainian military personnel involved in shelling the territory of the DPR.
