According to the website the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, on July 25, in Ukraine begin the command and staff exercises "South Wind". It is noted that the military exercises are the next stage after the completion of the comprehensive exrcices "Summer storm 2016". The exercises are planned to be carried out over the entire territory of Ukraine.

'During their active phase, there will be carried out tactical exercises of battalions (divisions), including combat firing, landing and raiding by units of the highly mobile airborne troops, their moving over long distances in a combined way to overcome water obstacles, perform flight-tactical tasks and repel an enemy's air attack,' says the report.

In addition, the Ukrainian command will work out skills of operating the Armed Forces in the martial law regime.
