The Head of the People's Republic of Donetsk, Alexander Zakharchenko denied the information of the Ukrainian media about the liquidation of enterprises in Donbass.

‘The Ukrainian media have already spread the information that Zakharchenko decreed the liquidation of the «Styrol». Owing to the Ukrainian army we have enough ruined enterprises that we are rebuilding, and it is the Ukrainian army that supply us with scrap. So, we ask the Ukrainian military that tanks should be heavy for us to have a lot of metal, we will burn them, and then take them for scrap,’ said Zakharchenko.

Previously, the agency «Ukrinform» reported, referring to an informed source, that Alexander Zakharchenko had supposedly ordered to carry out in the near future the dismantling of one of the largest enterprises of Donbass, the Gorlovka chemical concern «Styrol», owned by a Ukrainian businessman, Dmitry Firtash. According to the publication, it is planned to organize and carry out the export of 90% of the enterprise communications equipment as scrap metal.
