The authorities of the Republic and representatives of friendly states have started negotiations on opening branches of foreign banks in the DPR. This was announced by Irina Nikitina, the Chairman of the Central Republican Bank (CRB), during her speech at the international conference on problems of increasing the efficiency of public administration in Donetsk. 

‘Those states that have recognized us are negotiating with us regarding the opening of their banks. We think that soon there will be some changes,’ said Nikitina. 

The head of the CRB emphasized that the presence of a competitive environment would give impetus to a more intensive development of the banking sector.
