The LPR People's Militia is intensely preparing for a military operation against Kiev’s army and the liberation of a number of cities and towns, controlled by the Ukrainian troops. It is expected that the numerous forces will enter the Ukrainian territory in a massive armed breakthrough.

‘For a few days, our forces will attack the AFU positions in the area of ​​the localities Lisichansk, Popasnaya, Schastye, Stanitsa Luganskaya. The purpose of this operation is to put an end to the AFU presence near the Republican borders,’ said a source in the LPR People's Militia command.

According to the source, during the attack the artillery is to suppress the artillery of the defending enemy, destroy its detected anti-tank weapons or suppress them in the regions of their likely presence, suppress (or eliminate) flanking firing positions and the fire system in general, as well as tactical reserves, observation and command posts, destroy the most important defenses and make passages in antitank and antipersonnel obstacles and barriers.
