A delegation of representatives of analytical and political centers of the United States visited the Donetsk region, reports the press group of the operative-tactical group «Mariupol». 

‘During the visit to Mariupol, we got acquainted with the current security policy and the social and economic situation in the region. Foreign guests paid a particular attention to the use of modern technical reconnaissance equipment, including unmanned aerial vehicles, during the antiterrorist operation, as well as the needs of our military of help,’ the report says. 

In addition, the delegation visited the front-line locality of Shirokino, where they inspected a local school, which was destroyed by the fighting, the village of Sartana near Mariupol, and also got acquainted with the activities of the military in the Azov Sea area.

According to the American experts, the visit to the «ATO zone» allowed them to obtain the necessary data for recommendations to the US top military and political authorities, regarding the further development of the cooperation in the field of security. 

In the sky over Donbass, not only unmanned aerial vehicles have been recorded many times, but also American reconnaissance satellites. In particular, a satellite of the US National Aerospace Intelligence Agency was recorded over Donbass on February 16. 

Earlier, it was reported that the strategic unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the US Air Force, RQ-4A Global Hawk, also carried out reconnaissance flights along the contact line in Donbass on February 5 and 7.
