Due to sniper fire from the Ukrainian military, employees of the OSCE special monitoring mission were not able to get into the locality of Trudovskiye for inspection promised today at the rally against the ineffective work of the mission. 

Representatives of the mission came to the locality, but for safety reasons, the movement towards the Trudovskiye was discontinued. At the time of the observers arrival, the Ukrainian side opened sniper fire at the area where the inspection was to have taken place. 

‘We went there and stood at the checkpoint for 40 minutes. But we were not allowed, with the explanation that a sniper was working there. We were going to see the damaged house in the Chekhov Street, 17, but we were never able to do it,’ said the head of the SMM Donetsk office, Olga Skripovskaya.
