South Ossetia (RSO) will open its embassies in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (the DPR and the LPR) in the near future. This was announced by the President of South Ossetia, Anatoly Bibilov, presenting the new Foreign Minister, Dmitry Medoev, to the Foreign Ministry staff. 

‘We will develop relations with the countries that we have recognized. In the near future, a building will be allocated in South Ossetia for the embassy of the DPR, while the authorities of this republic have already allocated a good building for the embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia in the DPR. The similar decision is being prepared in the LPR,’ he said. 

Bibilov added that graduates of the MGIMO, professional diplomatic workers of South Ossetia, would be sent to work in the embassy in Donetsk. He noted that plans for the development of trade and economic relations of South Ossetia with the DPR and LPR are in the process of implementing.
