Canada's military authorities have decided to cancel a training mission in Ukraine and withdraw the instructors.

This was said by the shadow Defense Minister of Canada James Bezan.

The mission, which Poroshenko called ‘an example of the strong bilateral relations between Canada and Ukraine’ will not be renewed after 2017.

‘Despite the personal appeal of President Poroshenko, the Prime Minister Trudeau refused to continue the operation Unifier, the Canadian training mission in western Ukraine, after 2017,’ said Bezan.
