Church of St. Ambrose of Milan restored in DPR
The church of St. Ambrose of Milan in the town of Amvrosievka in the Donetsk People's Republic is virtually restored. It was said by Archpriest Eugene Podgorny.
‘We are now doing our best to do everything that we can. Our church is already taking shape in appearance. There is now only the bell tower left to be restored, which we would like to crown with bells. A church without bells is like a man without a voice,’ said Archpriest Evgeny Podgorny.
‘The church played an important role during the war. It was, in a way, a bomb shelter as its walls are very thick,’ he added.
