Large Western companies leaving Ukraine

02:37, 14.08.2016

Western investors continue to curtail their activities in after-Maidan Ukraine.

It was written by Alexander Okhrimenko, the President of the Ukrainian Analytical Center, on his page on the social network.

‘In June of this year, several large companies left the market of Ukraine. In particular, the company Tetra Pak completely curtailed its operation in producing packaging in Kiev. In addition, two major Finnish companies announced their intention to leave our country. The paint manufacturer Tikkurila announced the decision to sell their plant near Kiev, and the Ruukki exported their production capacity, so now the sandwich panels will be delivered to the country from Poland,’ wrote the economist.
