The LPR has fully paid off with Ukraine for the consumed water in January. This was stated by the director of the state-owned enterprise «Luganskvoda», Alexander Avershin. 

He explained that at the negotiations of the contact group in Minsk, there was developed a mechanism of water supply to the LPR, from the Petrovsky conduit and the Western filtration plant. In addition, the contact group settled the issue of payment for water consumed by the Republic. 

‘Today, for the month of January, we have paid in full, we have no debt for January,’ said Avershin. 

Earlier, the DPR reported that the Ukrainian military had launched an artillery attack on the territory of the Donetsk filtration plant, with several shells exploded near the chlorine warehouse.
