The DPR machine-building enterprises have already sold overseas 2 billion rubles worth products, this is evidence of the reality of the reorientation of the former plants of Ukrainian oligarchs to the Russian market. 

‘We have started to refocus our businesses operating on the territory of the Republic, to other foreign markets. A successful example is the mechanical engineering industry which, as of now, has realized products worth over 2 billion rubles outside the DPR. 

In addition, in the media, we have repeatedly made comments on the growing interest to the DPR of business circles of the countries of Europe, such as Italy, Czech Republic and Finland. These are the states where we have opened the DPR representative centers which have also become centers of information about how things are in Donbass, what is the real situation there. We see foreign citizens also showing economic interest, as we have already received more than one delegation of potential investors from European countries,’ assured Nikonorova, the Acting Foreign Minister of the DPR.
