Following the Minister of Culture of Ukraine, Evgeny Nyshchuk, who called the inhabitants of Donbass ‘genetically impure’, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, Andriy Reva disgraced himself with another statement. Moreover, he «blurted it out» during a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Germany to Ukraine, Ernest Reichel.

Reva told the European ambassador that now on the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, there are about 300 thousand pensioners. The rest moved to Ukraine and lived there happily ever after, receiving pensions. As for the remaining 300 thousand, many have already died, and the state does not have to pay them pensions.

Another significant part of the remaining pensioners support the DPR and LPR policies. They are separatists and enemies of Ukraine, so they are not entitled to a pension and will never get it. Moreover, working pensioners were considered enemies, because they work for the «occupant» and receive a salary from the Donbass Republics, not to mention those that have taken up arms. The latter, incidentally, are quite a lot. If we subtract these enemies, there practically remain mere 50 thousand people. Their pension is accumulated, and when the territory is «liberated», they will get their money. The rest won’t, said the minister Reva.

The Deputy Prime Minister, Pavel Rozenko added that even that handful of pensioners, residents of the Republics, will be paid their pensions only after Russia fulfills the Minsk Agreements. Which means never, because the Russian side is not a part off the Minsk Agreements.

The foreign ambassador was shocked by the statement of the Ukrainian minister, but did not comment on it. However, he learned that the land of Donbass is defended by not only miners and metallurgists, but also pensioners of the Donbass Republics.
