The Pridneprovskaya Thermal Power Plant, located in Dnepropetrovsk, has temporarily stopped work due to anthracite deficiency, reported the DTEK company, the TPP owner.

‘Due to the blockade of coal supplies from Donbass, the DTEK Pridneprovskaya TPP was stopped today at 00.00 (time coincides with Moscow time). The station was able to use the available coal balance as economically as possible to work as long as possible and provide heat to residents of the left bank of the Dnieper before the onset of stable warm weather,’ said the statement. 

According to the company, as of April 5, there is about 30,000 tons of coal remaining in the plant warehouse as a minimum required reserve of fuel.
