Today, activists of the Polish community of the Lvov region have blocked the international highway Lvov-Warsaw. 

They protest against the violation of the rights of the Poles in Ukraine and the desecration of Polish monuments. The protesters completely blocked traffic lanes, a large traffic jam formed on the road. The activists were holding posters with inscriptions in Polish: «This is our land», «Do not touch our monuments», «Volhyn in our hearts». 

The participants began to burn tires and flares. The representatives of the minority condemned today's shooting at the Polish consulate in Lutsk with a grenade launcher. 

The SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs quickly arrived at the scene of the protest. There were clashes between the participants of the action and the ‘aw enforcement officers. 

‘We want Poland to pay attention to how we are humiliated here, how our rights are violated. Our government agencies are shot, and soon we will also be shot,’ said the leader of the action, Taras Kmet.
