The Forum of Slavic unity «With Russia forever» was held in the Crimea, in celebration of the 363rd anniversary of the Pereyaslavskaya Rada (the event at which Russia and Ukraine were united).

The Forum appealed to the people of South-East of Ukraine with a call for unity.

‘Dear compatriots, brothers Slavs! These days we are celebrating the anniversary of the Pereyaslavskaya Rada. Even centuries later, this event confirms the indisputable truth that the future of Ukraine is only in union with Russia. Any attempt to step away from this route brings Ukrainian towns and villages blood, the pain, misery, and ruin. The Forum of Slavic unity «With Russia forever», which is attended by the Crimean people of different nationalities, as well as representatives of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republic, appeals to you to save your country, stop the fratricidal war in the Donbass!

Heroic Donetsk and Lugansk happened to become the object of hate of the criminal Ukrainian nationalist «authorities», directed tanks and artillery against civilians of Donbass, and unleashed on them criminals and punitive battalions. The People's Republic of Donbass have fully drunk their cup of sorrow, but defended their homeland and will never give up an inch of it.

This tragedy is also a fault of apathetic witnesses. The silence, indifference and fear are similar to death. They give perpetrators a sense of impunity, and pour oil in the fire of the civil war. Ukraine can be saved only by the healthy part of its people, which has not lost its sense of unity with Russia, the great Slavic brotherhood.

Only you can stop the vile propaganda, and open the doors to the truth! Only you, together, are able to throw the puppets of the West to the dustbin of history! You are many, you are strong, and they are in agony. You have the truth on your side, and their ideology is utterly false.

The Crimea is in Russia. Independent Donbass is close to us. And you are dying without Russia! Today, we defend the historical justice: our common Slavic roots, our values, our culture and faith. The strength of the Slavic peoples is in their unity! Our future is forever with Russia!’
