The confrontation between the Ukrainian President Poroshenko and the scandalous oligarch Igor Kolomoisky seems to be turning into an acute phase. 

On April 5, to conduct a search, representatives of the Security Service cut the grilles on the doors of the Ukrnafta, after which the armed security forces entered the office. 

The law enforcers expect to find, during the search, materials of interest concerning holding ‘auctions during the period when the company was managed by the people of Igor Kolomoisky’. 

The Ukrnafta is the largest gas and oil producing company in Ukraine. 50% + 1 shares of the company is the property of the Naftogaz of Ukraine, 42% of shares are owned by the «Privat» group of the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky.
