The water-pipe No. 14 of the Donetsk Filtration Plant (DFP), which feeds the capital of the DPR, was damaged as a result of the shelling. This was reported by the representative of the municipal enterprise «Company «Water of Donbass»». 

‘Just now it became known that as a result of a bombardment, the water pipeline No. 14 of the DFP got severe damages. It provides water to Donetsk and is one of the key water-pipes. In this connection, the work of the filtration plant itself was suspended,’ the source said. 

The representative of the company emphasized that at present the water supply to the Republican capital had significantly decreased. The specialists of the enterprise assess the damage and take measures to restore the water conduit. 

The 14th water conduit of the Donetsk Filtration Plant is located near the village of Donetsk-Severny. Through it, water enters several districts of the capital, Makeevka and Yasinovataya. The territory near the village is regularly shelled by the Ukrainian military.
