The press center of the ATO headquarters informed in Facebook that the Armed Forces of the DPR and LPR had given a strong rebuff to the AFU, in response to their shelling with heavy artillery and mortars of various calibers. 

The tough response to the AFU provocations followed simultaneously in several directions. In the Mariupol direction, the blows were dealt on Shirokino and Talakovka with 152 and 122mm artillery, infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, small arms, and even tanks. The response also fell on Lebedyanskoye, Krasnogorovka, Talakovka and Vodyanoye; the fire from grenade launchers was carried out on Novogrigoryevka, Gnutovo and Pavlopol.

In the Lugansk direction, the position of the AFU in Novozvanovka received 20 «hellos» from MLRS «Grad» and many more from 122mm artillery. The militia also struck Krymskoye, Novotoshkovskoye, Novoaleksandrovka with 120 and 82mm mortar. 

In the Donetsk direction, the militia «hit» the positions of the AFU in the area of Avdeevka, Zaytsevo and Verkhnetoretskoye with mortars of various calibers, and in the area of Kamenka and Novgorodskoye with grenade launchers of various systems. 

As a result of the militia’s response strike, there were killed two soldiers of the AFU. The Ukrainian army had to significantly retreat from their positions.
