The Ukrainian parliament does not plan in the near future to consider the issue of holding local elections in the territories of Donbass.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Verkhovnaya Rada, Andrey Paruby.
‘The issue of holding elections in the uncontrolled territories is not on the agenda of the Verkhovnaya Rada of Ukraine today,’ said Parubiy, adding that ‘without the fulfillment of security conditions, there can be no question of elections’.
