President of Ukraine Poroshenko said that the responsibility for the worsening of the situation in Avdeevka lay with Russia and the militias. It is reported by the Ukrainian leader's press service.

According to Poroshenko, the militias had started an offensive against the Ukrainian troops, while Kiev is doing everything possible to comply with the ceasefire.

‘The Ukrainian side has done everything possible in order to repel these attacks started in late January. It emphasizes the need for a ceasefire all the time. Last night, in Adeevke, the residential areas and a point of distribution of humanitarian aid were shelled with multiple rocket launchers, with civilians killed,’ said the head of the state.

In addition, Poroshenko said that the militia specifically did not allow repair crews organized by the Ukrainian side, to work.

Earlier, the Donetsk People's Republic stated about the death of over 20 people since the beginning of deterioration of the situation in Donbass.
