The President of Ukraine Poroshenko instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to file a lawsuit in the International Court of Justice in The Hague on ‘Russia violating the Convention on Combating the Financing of Terrorism and the Convention on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination’, reports the presidential press service.

‘Today, the full range of pre-trial process has been completed. Ukraine is fully ready to submit to the International Court of Justice in The Hague, the necessary documents for the prosecution of the Russian Federation to these two Conventions,’ says the report. 

Poroshenko also noted that Ukraine all the time, since the beginning of the "Russian aggression" had acted ‘exclusively in the format of international law’.
