The President of Ukraine Poroshenko announced the need to deploy the partisan movement in Ukraine in the event of war.

According to The Politnavigator, it is reported by the press service of the head of Ukraine.

This opinion was expressed by Poroshenko during the scientific-practical conference "Lessons of a hybrid war" in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

He also said that Kiev did not announce mobilization as the army was successfully completed on the contract.

'In the event of a full-scale invasion, we should have a detailed plan of the general mobilization. (...). The fact that we do not announce the general mobilization now is caused only by the effectiveness of the campaign of building a professional army,' the President said.

According to Poroshenko, Ukraine must assume the position of 'active defense' and counter the 'hybrid war' with asymmetric 'hybrid' answers.

'The hybrid warfare unleashed against our country forces us to continue applying an asymmetric comprehensive response to the threats. The defense against a hybrid aggression should also be hybrid,' said Poroshenko.

In this context, according to the Ukrainian president, it is important to have 'the tough, active defense which annuls the purpose of the enemy's offensive, the active diplomacy aimed at providing support to Ukraine, the prolongation of the international sanctions against the aggressor'.
