President of Ukraine, Poroshenko ordered to increase additional allowances to the military performing operations in the so-called ATO area. He said this at the graduation ceremony at the Chernyakhovsky National University. 

‘After consulting with the Defense Minister and the chief of the General Staff, I made a decision and gave instructions to increase the amount of additional monetary allowances for performing tasks in the ATO, from April 1. For those who carry out combat missions directly on the contact line, we increase it by another 1,500 UAH. Thus, on the whole, the additional cash support will amount to 7,500 UAH,’ he said. 

For those who perform combat missions in the second line, the allowances increases by another 1,100 UAH and reaches 3,5oo UAH additionally. 

On the eve, Poroshenko instructed the General Staff of the Armed Forces to stop the fire in Donbass from April 1.
