The soldiers of the DPR Army reported the situation in Zaytsevo, provocations by the AFU, as well as the artillery shelling by the Ukrainian military on civilians. 

‘Life in the locality is divided into day and night life - during the day, shops work, people are engaged in their farming and kitchen gardens, but at night, a nightmare begins, everyone must hide, as they are shelled with heavy artillery. 

The inhabitants of the Donbass and we have only one desire: either peacefully, or not, but to liberate everything as soon as possible, we have been in the trenches for three years. Everyone has a family and everyone wants a peaceful life. The soldiers are on the verge and want to actively participate in the liberation of their territory and fulfill their army and civil duty,’ said a soldier of the DPR Armed Forces with the call sign «Iron». 

‘Everything is as it was, and around the clock, sniper are working, as well as all possible weapons. Nobody has withdrawn anything. Nobody on the Ukrainian side observes anything. They shoot at both the civilians and our positions. They are trying to exterminate the civilian population, we are not people for them and every day they confirm with their actions that for them, there are no people here,’ summed up the DPR soldier.
