At a meeting in Minsk on June 7, the participants in the subgroup on security will bring up, as the main issue on the agenda, the death and injury of civilians, caused by the AFU shelling of Donetsk and Yasinovataya in recent days. This was stated by the head of the delegation of the Republic at the peace talks, the chairman of the People's Council, Denis Pushilin.

‘Eight peaceful, innocent citizens were wounded. The woman died in front of her son who was taken to hospital with severe injuries. The boy became an orphan. Such are the consequences of the glaring actions of the Ukrainian military only in the last two days. These victims and these violations of the ceasefire will be the first issue on the agenda of tomorrow's meeting of the subgroup on security in Minsk,’ he said.

Pushilin also reminded that the DPR would continue to insist on the need for the speedy separation of forces and means in the third pilot section, Stanitsa Luganskaya (the territory of the LPR), and the withdrawal of prohibited weapons from the contact line.

‘Only in this way will we be able to protect our citizens from new bombardments of the «valiant» Ukrainian army,’ emphasized Pushilin.

The Speaker of the Parliament noted that the peace in Donbass could not be established until the Ukrainian side ‘ceases to neglect the implementation of the Complex of Measures’.
