The Ukrainian side disrupted the work of the economic sub-group in the capital of Belarus. It was stated by Denis Pushilin, the head of the DNR delegation to the negotiations of the Contact Group.

‘Today, the Ukrainian side disrupted the work of the economic subgroup, refusing to engage in dialogue with Maxim Leshchenko, a representative of Donbass, the Head of Administration of the DPR Head. The pretext for it was the alleged criminal case opened against him in Kiev for aiding and abetting terrorism. Kiev also periodically calls the Head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, and the Head of the LPR, Igor Plotnitsky, terrorists, which did not prevent them, however, from signing with them the protocol, the Memorandum and the Complex of the Minsk Agreements measures, aimed at resolving the situation peacefully,’ he said.

According to him, it is ‘another far-fetched pretext in order to stop the economic subgroup and the Contact Group from working’.

‘Such actions are aimed at disrupting the Minsk Agreements and continuing the economic blockade of Donbass,’ summed up Pushilin.
