Pushilin announced names of AFU officers responsible for shelling Makeevka

In today's videoconference of the Contact Group, the DPR revealed the data of the Ukrainian military involved in the shelling of Makeevka on October 27, reported Denis Pushilin, the head of the DPR delegation to the peace negotiations.

‘Our side presented the data, we have the information about the Ukrainian commanders responsible for shelling; they are Colonel Victor Nikolyuk and Colonel Andrey Sokolov,’ he said.

Pushilin pointed out that in the videoconference the Ukrainian side accused the DPR of shelling Makeevka. 

‘It is impossible to make up anything more absurd,’ he emphasized.

On Thursday evening, October 27, the AFU opened fire from mortars and cannon artillery on residential areas of Makeevka. On the same evening, the intense fire by the Ukrainian military was reported in many localities of the DPR, as well as the positions of the Armed Forces of the Republic along the entire contact line. According to the latest data of the command, as a result, in a few hours, 5 people were killed, including three civilians. 16 people were injured, with 10 of them civilians, including two children.
