Pushilin: «All for all» prisoners exchange can not be held due to Kiev’s fault
The exchange of prisoners by the formula «all for all» between Ukraine and the Republics of Donbass can not be held in the near future by the fault of the Ukrainian side. It was stated by Denis Pushilin, the head of the DPR delegation at the negotiations in Minsk.
‘The agreements virtually reached earlier between Donbass and Kiev on the «all for all» exchange of prisoners, with 618 people returning to the DPR and LPR, are impossible to realize by the fault of the Ukrainian side,’ said Pushilin.
According to him, the confirmation of the above is the postponement of the humanitarian subgroup meeting in Minsk from October 26 to November 9th.
‘Initially, the DPR and LPR were optimistic because the Ukrainian side demonstrated a desire to carry out this project. Now we do not see this desire,’ added the DPR plenipotentiary.
On September 21, in the course of the humanitarian subgroup meeting in Minsk, the DPR proposed Kiev to exchange prisoners according to the formula «618 for 47». After that, a formal written proposal was sent to the Ukrainian side, but the opponents still have not responded.
