01:10, 06.04.2017

The officers of the Joint Center for Coordination and Coordination of the Ceasefire (JCCC) and representatives of the OSCE Mission came under fire from the Ukrainian army near Yasinovataya, in the area of the Donetsk filtration plant (DFP). This was reported by a representative of the DPR operational command.

‘At 9:05, the representatives of the OSCE mission and the Russian side of the JCCC, as well as repair crews, came under mortar fire from the AFU in the DFP area,’ said the representative.

He added that under fire of the enemy units also came a sapper team which was sent to the DFP to inspect the territory for the presence of explosive objects before launching the station.

‘The Ukrainian side is making every effort to disrupt the restoration work at the filtration plant,’ emphasized the command.

On March 29, the filtration plant was de-energized as a result of the shelling by the Ukrainian units. Then the fire damaged the power substation feeding the DFP. The day before, the power supply of the plant was restored. For today, it was planned to launch the DFP into the operation.
