On the night from February 28 to March 1st, after the ultimatum announced by the Head of the DPR to the Ukrainian authorities to lift the blockade, the illumination was switched on at the famous stadium «Donbass Arena» in Donetsk. 

Throughout the time of the war, the stadium, where in 2012, the football matches of the European Championship had taken place, was plunged into darkness at night. 

But that night, for the first time in three years, it shone again.
